I’d think the lettuce might get too wilted in a bad way.

Funny Girl – it is and the only time of year I’d eat it.

Leslee – I never tried avocado on a BLT and LOVE avocado. I’ll have to try.

Unknown Mami - My gf and I were just talking about the Cuban on Saturday. She was saying that would be her favorite sandwich and me commenting I never had one. It sounds like I should.

Kristin - Do you eat this cold or as a panini?

Carolyn Online – I feel sorry for you. You haven’t a clue what you’re missing.

Jaime – A good reuben is the best, but sometimes very hard to find.

Joanna Jenkins – LOL. I agree. Mayo makes most anything yummy. I’ve never done an egg sandwich with mayo. I like the sound and assume the bread is toasted.

Llafronz – No tomato? I hear you on the fresh mozzarella. That definitely makes the sandwich.

Debbie – I think there is an art to creating the perfect, well constructed sandwich.

Midtown Girl – I love chicken salad on a croissant, but this sounds like it has possibilities.

Helen – mayo and butter on a sandwich? Not sure on that. A little mayo and butter, the bread toasted and you have yourself a feast. As you can probably tell, I don't order this outside...I make my own. *L*

I also love egg mayo on thick white bread with thinly sliced cucumber and freshly ground black pepper. And of course, a seeded bagel with lots of cream cheese and smoked salmon, freshly ground black pepper, a squeeze of lemon juice. The bagel has to be toasted with butter applied quickly so it sinks right in there. In CT when you ask for mustard it is always brown. I don’t know why that is.

Otin – You lost me on roast beef….but a good Jersey sub is yumbo!

DB – How funny, I brought a peanut butter sandwich every single day to school (mom taught me how to make this sandwich in 1st grade). I would never have a plain PB sandwich today.

Lacochran – Grilled Cheese is a winter comfort food to me and even better when someone else makes it.

Kys – LOL – I love the lobster roll and ummm…can easily get it here. Sorry…

Sunshine Mama – When you have a really ripe tomato, nothing beats it.

AriSpark – I loved smoked turkey on any sandwich.

Lyn – LOL. I wish I liked roast beef because so many people rav about it.

JennyMac - I love dill and capers in my tuna. The Panini sounds yummy.

Tracey – I love swiss cheese.

Ink Obsession – it is a sandwich that fulfills a sweet craving. It is not a sandwich that satisfies a craving for a hearty sandwich.

Blueviolet – I think toasted bread transforms any sandwich and a must for tuna sandwich.

Angie – LOL. I had one recently and it was yummy. It’s the damn sauce.

Spot – Guacomole is yummy.

Captain Dumbass – LOL. Hmmm…I’ll have to remember next time I’m up in that area.

Tracey – Why, thank you. Although reading these answers makes me hungry.

Brian Miller – Melted cheese on a sub – yumbo. You use the word “sub” are you from the Northeast?

Erin P – All 3 sound wonderful, #1 had me drooling and I’m going to check out # 3 because I can.

Dan - A good tuna salad is the best and why it tastes so much better on toasted bread is beyond me.

Maria.palermo – I’d cut this up into bite size pieces and serve with sliced meats and olives….

Monkey Man – Interesting sandwich, I might just try because I’m curious about cream cheese and olives. About the grill cheese, I would never think of bbque sauce on a sandwich, but I might have to try. Have you ever had the grilled cheese with just the bbque sauce?

Working Mommy – Ohhhhh parmasean cheese on the outside….okay, have to try.

Vodka Logic – Sometimes I ask deep questions, but sometimes, simple thoughts provoke deep thoughts …or I was just hungry. I think that sandwich is called a Cape Cod because of the cranberries.

Karyn – Tuna fish is a classic and I enjoy a really good one. I like veggie sandwiches, but would skip the sprouts (never seem to get fresh ones & brings back college memories where my roomie would leave them in the fridge too long insisting they were fine, but ummm NOT).

Matty – I finally found a good chicken salad recipe is hard to find and when I do find it, it’s awesome!

P – I’ve never tried that and am going to try now.Little Ms Bloggerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17208746635976950728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18532799296928641.post-65487009314755716462010-01-08T15:47:23.659-08:002010-01-08T15:47:23.659-08:00You sure get a ton of comments, my friend!
