I've decided to make Thursdays my "Question of the Week" day because I always have questions and am always interested in people's answers.
This Week's Question:What do you think is funnier -- Monty Python or the Three Stooges?
I'll explain my reasoning for asking this question tomorrow.

Hmm...I've never been a fan of Monty Python so I would have to say Three Stooges. :)
I like the idea of a question of the week idea.
Monty Python, definitely. The skit where they are like "We've come to collect your liver" for the liver donor thing cracks me up everytime!!
I don't know....I always had a hard time figuring out why the Three Stooges were funny, so I guess I'd have to say Monty Python. Guys dressed up in women's clothing is always funny.
Honestly? I've never actually SEEN The Three Stooges. So it is Monty Python by default... :)
Meh, both are okay. If I had to choose, definitely Monty Python, but honestly, there are so many other funny programs out there!
Monty Python is the penultimate of comedy for me. If you have the chance - go see the play Spamalot. Then you'll agree that they have to be the funniest - I don't see any 3 Stooges routines being turned into Tony winners.
oh, both are good but monty python is much more memorable...
As a kid, I would have said the stooges, but now it's Monty.
Monty Python for sure.
Neither, British humor scares me and I don't like slapstick comedy. Give me a block of the Golden Girls!
Before age 10, the Three Stooges
After age 10, Monty Python
Note that due to censorship of the Stooges particular brand of physical humor thanks to the efforts of the wanna be PC crowd, this question may be moot in a few years.
I have never really cared for either, but can remember MP a bit..and it was a little dirty, so I go with dirtier because that is ALWAYS funnier.
definitely monty python. :)
Probably Monty Python for me- the "we are the knights who say neee!" thing always cracks me up.
I've got to go with Monty Python all the way!
Hugs!!
Monty Python! Cleverness is funnier to me than physical humor. Even as a child, I didn't find the finger-in-the-eye kind of humor to my liking. Also don't like it when person is "the dumb one."
Consistenty the Stooges. I love Python, but some of their bit got tedious.
Want real conflict - throw in the Marx Bros and ask people to choose.
The three stooges, because they did outrageous things to each other without getting injured.
Mony Python. (Although I'm not a huge fan of either.)
Why, Monty Python, of course. As a matter of fact, I was IMing someone at my office and quoted "the knights who say Ne" today....I know exactly where you're going with this question. By and large the Stooges fan are guys.
Monty Python by a country mile.
I really like the Three Stooges, but they're just not in the same league. And there's a lot of Three Stooges material (most of it post-Curly) that's really pretty average.
Monty Python, however, very rarely strays below excellent, it was consistently funny and well ahead of its time.
Without Monty Python, comedy would be a very different thing from what it is today. Without the Three Stooges? Not so much.
I am not a fan of Three Stoogies at all, but I do love Monty Python.
The stooges were definitely funnier, where as Python was a wittier type of humor. Hard to compare.
Monty Python for sure. It might be a girl thing but I don't care for the Stooges
One word - SPAMALOT!!!
