I've decided to make Thursdays my "Question of the Week" day because I always have questions and am always interested in people's answers.
This Week's Question: Are you a celebrity news junkie?
Note: For purposes of this entry, I am defining celebrity as any political person (elected or royalty), actor/actress, powerful business person and sportsperson.
Earlier this morning, my sister, YogaGirl, called me on her way to work. We chatted a bit before she brought up the rumor/news that Sandra Bullock split from her husband.
I like Sandra Bullock. I know many people don't, but even if you don't, you have to admit, if the rumor is true, it must be hard to have one of the happiest moments in your life coincide with one of your saddest.
I probably wouldn't have heard about Sandra Bullock's split unless Yahoo did a big splash about it on their homepage because I'm not a celebrity news junkie.
This is not to say I'm not interested when anyone tells me about so-and-so, but if left to my own devices, I'd probably hear about the story in question a week after its happened.
