Who Says Lady Luck Doesn't Have a Sense of Humor......

Monday, November 1, 2010.....

This past weekend I purchased a Powerball ticket. The lottery was $82 or $87 million and I felt a little lucky.

I have a system when I check the numbers; first the Powerball number than the rest of the numbers.

- No luck with the PB number

- Rest of numbers read: 1, 7, 27, 36, 49

I had: 2, 8, 28, 37 and 49.

I kid you not. Yes. Welcome to my world.

On a positive note, the veggie garden has been cleared out and compost spread out over it.

I'm glad the universe's sense of humor was not lost on you!! Delightful. (BTW I'm "Erin P" I just decided to use my real name...it's a long story.)

Are you kidding me? that is not fair, I played the Classic Lotto and won $2 yeah! I agree with McGillicuty, you deserve some sort of reward!

Don't those off by one errors just drive you crazy? {*grin*}

Ugh, that's insane! You should get some kind of consolation prize out of it.

I have never bought lotto tickets. I am always interested in what you do with your garden. We just moved this weekend to a cute little house in a really small town and there was a large garden in the back yard. Hubby and I don't know much about gardening but we want to start a garden in the spring. Here's hoping we get some yield.

That is so weird!

That just means you are MUCH closer than people who picked 4, 33, etc. :)

But ask yourself this;
If you had won the lotto, would the veggie garden have been cleared out and the compost spread out over it?
