Rant and Rave Wednesday

Wednesday, January 13, 2010...

Any readers following me on a regular basis know if it's Wednesday, it's time to Rant and Rave about the past week. Without further adieu, here are my Rants and Raves from the past week:

Rave: People listened to Beaker and voted for me in Jules' Out-of-Tune competition and I want to thank you for it. I moved on the second week of the competition with a strip song and won't know till later today if I made it to week 3.

Rave: My trip into NYC. Although freezing out, I had a great time with friends and YogaGirl.

Rant: If you're going to pull out of driveway and cut me off (when you really should have waited) don't DRIVE 10 miles under the speed limit. Seriously, the speed limit was 25 mph and you're going 15? You're killing me.

Rant: I'm officially in a winter funk. It's been a couple of weeks now and although I'm not alone, I don't feel any consolation in this fact. I'm not depressed, but have no energy, brain fog...basically, the case of the blahs. Now I know why bears hibernate during the winter.

That's it for me. I would love to read any Rants and Raves you want to share? Just click on the linky thing for anyone that wants to participate in Rant and Rave Wednesday -- or leave them in the comments section here. Please be respectful and do not use the linky thing if you are just promoting your blog (yes, this is another Rant of mine).

Yep, I can understand the winter blahs, it is happening all over these days. Last winter was our first winter in Nebraska. I bee bopped all over town last winter, hardly any snow, maybe a few days of really cold but didn't need my snow boots or gloves just to hop into the car and into the store. But this winter it is darn cold. Way cold. Friggin freezing. And since this is a new experience for me, I am cooking more, which means I am eating more. Yikes. What's up with that? Oh, I sorta went on a rant, huh.

i feel like that in to winter time too. blah!

people pulling out in front of me and not going the speed limit is a huge pet peeve for me too...as it happens to me a lot!

I'm too crabby for any raves, but I agree with all of your rants! Especially the linking just to promote your blog.

A sad tale's best for winter. Shakespeare.

Ugh! Those people that cut you off and then drive slow should be put to death.

Christmas is over.

I'm down with the idea of hibernating for the winter also. Screw winter and it's cold snowyness. It should be illegal to leave the house in winter unless you want to. And the government should supply us all with cake every day till it's summer again.

Dude, I totally hear you on the frustration of getting cut off by a slow driver. Like, dude, why were you in a hurry just for those five seconds, jerkface?!

I am with you on the winter blahs. I really wish I could hibernate.

Aw, I hope you get through your winter blahs.
I would contribute, but I don't think I have anything to really rant about... At least, not at the moment... After all, I am a redhead, it won't be long before one comes to me. :P

TechnoBabe – LOL. No not a rant, but it may be in the Spring when you want to drop a few pounds and remember how you put on the weight.

OP – That happens a lot to you?! That would drive me MAD!!!!!

EyeGirl – I have days where I feel completely CRANKY so I feel your pain.

Berowne – True.

Captain Dumbass – So they get a reprieve during the holiday season? Good to know for next year so I won’t pelt their house with lumps of coal.

Veggie Assassin – YUMBO – Cake! Cake makes everyone happy.

Notthatkindofgirlblog – I wish I could press a button in my car that lifts the car up and puts me back down right smack in front of the driver that cut me off.

Jane - I don’t know why it’s frowned upon by society. Bears do it.

Vodka Logic – I think things will pick up.

P - I wish that would happen soon!

Karyn Bernard – Oh I feel your pain on the commute having had a 3 hour commute in the past. Thanks for the sun, I hope it gets here today.

Brian Miller – LOL, guess you live in a place where the drivers didn’t have to pass a test to get their license.

Herding Cats – Thanks. I hope you feel better soon too!

McGillicutty - They don’t have to take the bus. I’d settle for having my own Jetson vehicle

Eternally Distracted – I would have, but he was ancient and probably wouldn’t have heard me.

DB – Never mind quicken, do you have excel on the Mac?

rxBambi – That’s okay. RRW is not to be a stressful thing.
