Sometimes in life it is important to do the silly stupid things. For me, one of the greatest joys I have is when we coast down this particularly long street.
I'm not sure how the game started, but it always ends up trying to guess exactly where the car is going to die out. Although the road is a somewhat busy road there are times when no one is on the road and we coast at great speeds where you have to be in the middle of the road to make this one, somewhat difficult, hairpin turn.
I wonder if my love of the coasting game has anything to do with my love of amusement parks? During my 20's and 30's, I visited many amusement parks in different states. Not sure how that happened, but it just did. Initially, I had this insane fear of roller coasters, but with each visit to a new park, I began to love to ride them.
It's been at least a decade since I've been to an amusement park. I think my car coasting game is the closest thing to a roller coaster I'll see in a while. It's definitely a stupid game, but sometimes, stupid can be fun.

it is, but we do it anyway...T just gets upset when i take the hands off the wheel to raise them over my head...smiles.
Your blog's date says Friday the 2nd - instead of Thursday. Just wanted to let you know that I spent a good 5 minutes thinking "Wait...no? What? Wait? It's Friday! Oh my god amazing we skipped a day!" And then I came back down to reality...
My friend loves roller coasters - she plans vacations around visiting them the way I do around ballparks. Doing silly things keeps us young. Don't you ever stop.
Strangely enough, I haven't ridden a coaster in years either yet this weekend I'm going to be riding a couple. So excited! I get hideously motion sick too and these ones spin so you know...I'm sure my lunch will be reappearing. Oh well.
Brian - If you really want to get T going, close your eyes when you raise your hands. :-)
Herding Cats - Thanks. I'm a day ahead of self and according to my mom, if you're a day ahead, you gain a friend. A day behind, you lose one.
The Bumbles – I don’t think I’d ever do that, but how fun for her. If you plan your trips around ball fields, I’m assuming you’ve been to SF. I saw a homerun get hit over the wall into the water. It was awesome and the field reminded me of Fenway Park.
Veg Ass – Spinning around? Nope. Don’t do because I have puked after coming off those type rides. I pity you. Just don’t eat cookies prior to going on it. Don’t want to waste a good cookie.
Love the rides, but hate them too. I will observe from the gates. Am I a height fearing sissy? I don't care! My feet are planted firmly on the ground. :)
