Wednesday, March 31, 2010....
Any readers following me on a regular basis know if it's Wednesday, it's time to Rant and Rave about the past week. Without further adieu, here are my Rants and Raves from the past week:
Rave: Caught up with a friend this week and am amazed at how quickly things change in 1 month. [Note to self: get together more often]
Rant: Mockingbird outside my window. He's lonely and chirps. He's been there for days and sleep is just a 5 letter word to me.
Rave: The incredibly funny Facebook responses I got from people on how to solve my Mockingbird problem. The chain of discussion got very off track, but made me laugh.
Rant: Grocery store parking lots. Does driving at 50 mph down the lot really get you a space quicker? No. But, it does make quite interesting for the shopper with the cart going from the store to their car (I felt a little like I was a character on a video game and the win was that I was to stay alive)
Rant: Rain, rain and more rain. Ugh....
Rant: People who don't read emails. If I take the time to write an email with the answers, please read it.
Okay, that's it for me. I would love to read any Rants and Raves you want to share? Just click on the linky thing for anyone that wants to participate in Rant and Rave Wednesday -- or leave them in the comments section here. Please, please be respectful and do not use the linky thing if you are just promoting your blog (yes, this is another Rant of mine).

I always look forward to hearing the birds chirping on an early spring morning and then it happens and I wish it would go away. I do not like getting woken up at 4am!
Hahaha love the rants and raves!
My rants for this week? Why does everything break at once? First my TV, then my car, yesterday my microwave. I mean really?!
Have a great day!
I love this post and I hope today to have time to write one ...Thanks for the funness in your blog...it is a rave of mine happy wednesday
you know that email thing is a big rant on my list too. LOL.
Twice as many rants this week. Hope your week gets better.
Facebook? Are we already friends? Find me! Mean Girl Garage!!!
Oh my gosh I hate birds. Also, I have a deep and irrational fear of them. I might have a heart attack if one was outside my window watching me sleep.
Thanks for this topic, I've read Mrs. 4444's rants and raves before and have always wanted to participate. Since I've been slacking on my blog lately this was the perfect way to get back in the swing of things. BTW, I hate people who speed in parking lots...it's so unnecessary.
rave: its 80 degrees out...
rave: the hiccups i had for 3 straight days are gone
rave: i am not in a grocery parking lot.
rave: i am back. smiles.
I am terrible at answering emails.. and off track FB is the best.
Ah - having to play Frogger in the parking lot - that is no fun at all.
haha about the super market parking lot! I say to myself all the time I feel like I'm in teh DMV training videos with all the stuff they throw at ya there!
Maybe try to listen to soft music when your going to bed? It might drown out the bird! =)
Rave: the rain has ended here and the sun's out!
Rant: have a very early meeting tomorrow morning, but...
Rave: It's Easter time and my favorite holiday of the year!
Rave: the weather's supposed to be very nice for the next several days! Horray!!
I am always amazed at how much changes, even in such a short time. It does inspire me, too, to catch up more often. :) Hope you had fun!
it's the end of the month, so the crazies are out in full force...
rant: my client who won't agree to settle a case for signing an authorization.
rave: my son's finally asleep
rant: i had to boil eggs for him to bring to school and decorate tomorrow. hot water splashed all over my arms.
Rant: Hubby finally fixed the leaks in the roof and it looks like the rain will MISS US, this time so we won't know if it's fixed for a while.
Rave: Emails from friends.
Rave: I have your phone number!
Rave: I have 2 days off in a row!
Hugs!!
Didn't anyone suggest the shotgun full of buckshot? That is what everyone suggest for the crows.
You forgot to rant about the people that have to park within two feet of the door or it is "just to far to walk", even when they are 18 and healthy.
As soon as I find me a Freudian chicken, I am going to send you a cat for that bird. Oh wait a jest a minnit... don't you AlREADY have a cat? If so, exactly what is that useless feline doing while you suffer sleepless endless nights, eh??
All I think of when I read this is the book "To Kill a Mockingbird". I'm sure the answers you got were interesting.
If you e-mail me, I'll answer you!
Was that meat too red for you? My husband is rubbing off on me. I like it with a little pink in the middle now. I used to liked it cooked all the way through.
I can see how that mockingbird would inspire interesting discussions.
OMGosh the grocery store shopping driving kills me and with two little boys that think holding mom's hand is uncool. So stressed mom pulling hands and here comes crazy speed driver :).
Oh rain it's killing my hair oh wait that would mean I leave the house :) .. LOL
it's crazy how much time goes by in between seeing friends...and there's always something new going on with them. it's hard to keep up!
