Why is it when you're sick, you can only focus on one thing? Well, that's the case with me.
Today, I wanted to catch up on blogging, but can't get passed the fact I'm hungry and want some Indian food.
Since I don't see lamb vindaloo or onion nan falling from the sky into my kitchen, I'll settle for some soup.
Dang the Next Iron Chef America competition for being all about Indian food and dang my DVR for taping it.

Shame on them both! What were they thinking? Hope your soup was good and you're feeling better.
♥Spot
I tend to find that my mind wanders less when I'm sick, but I also find that it tends to only concentrate on how sick I am.
Get better soon!
earaches totally suck especially when they mess up your equilibrium. did you get vertigo? Well hope you feel better
LOL – I saw that episode, and had the exact OPPOSITE reaction (could be because the one food on the planet that I don't like is Indian!)
Feel better soon!
Soup is probably better for you if your not feeling well!
Hope your feeling better!
Indian food............not good with my tummy right now. Damn. But eat some for me!!!
Your illness must be preventing you from focusing well because it is Monday, November TWO not 3. Probably just a typo. My sausage like fingers do that do me all the time. Hope you feel better soon.
Sausage fingers and my own poor proofing "do that TO me all the time." I'm such a chump.
Ah, yes, to the food with flavor.
Aw, I'm sorry you're sick. I get like that, too, when I'm sick. When I got hit with the flu, all I wanted was clam chowit.der. Weird, right? I can't wait to watch that episode of Next Iron Chef; my DVR is calling out to me to watch it already. Feel better soon!
Oh you need a good delivery place right now. Feel better! xoxo

How are you feeling? I hope you are ok?
It was a good show though wasn't it?
Wow, indian food craving when you are sick. This is my first visit to your blog. I like the way you write.. It is easy to read.
Ooh.., Indian food. That sounds so good. I hope you feel better soon.
That was me last week...argh.
Wishing you well and some lamb vindaloo.
much love
I don't even crave Indian food when I'm well...which may be because I don't really eat it...hmm..
Hope you feel better soon.
I've never had Indian food but now I want to try some. Soup is always good when one is under the weather; hope you are feeling a bit better
betty
OMG! Delicious food should totally fall from the sky when we are sick.
come over,I'll cook you some!
Indian food? That'd clear up your sinuses.
Get Well Soon!!
The soup is definitely a better choice than Indian Curry but I do understand those pangs!!:-(
Went through some of your posts and they have been written so well!!
Keep up the Good Work!!
Do visit my blog and follow it in case you like it..
Looking forward to more wonderful posts..
Take Care,
D
I hope you feel better soon! Indian food sounds good to me too!
Top Chef is what does me in. It never fails. It'll be 11:00 at night and I'll want someone to cook me up a gourmet spread. One of these days that will actually happen. Hope you're feeling better. Being sick is no fun.
I hope you don't die from your ear thing. I don't think you will but wanted to throw it out there.
xoxoxo -leah
Poor you with the ear- well two maybe? It sounds really horrid. This may sound really silly but I always hanker after Indian food when I'm sick! And the sicker I am and less able to eat anything, the more visions of Indian dishes dance before my eyes...so it mightn't have anything to do with that program, it might be knowing me that's done it?????
Delivery, my dear! It cures all!
Feel better! When I am sick, I tend to feel super sorry for myself. The whole world revolves around how lousy I feel. And I get hungry for my mom's chicken soup. That is why I am making chicken soup for my son who is sick right now.
lol. i love watching Iron Chef...
hope you are feeling better.
Hey!I have something for you on my blog!Btw,hows the ear?
Spot – I know how dare my t.v. and DVR gang up on me. I caved and got some take-out. It was yummy.
CaJoh – LOL. Very true. Intelligent conversation was not to be had in my house.
Cyn – No, I didn’t get vertigo, but every now and again, I have ringing in my ears. I lay low and it passes.
Kk – LOL. You mentioned you wanted to lose some weight, why not do a whole month of Indian Food?
Deborah – Oh, I caved. The Indian Food was as good as I imagined it would be. Probably because it had been about 3 years since I last had it.
Jules - I can imagine. I bet your loving the oatmeal.
Monkey Man – You’re right I was sick. I thought Monday was the 3rd.
Secretia – It was the best!
Multiple personalities – New England Chowder is the best (Progresso makes a very yummy one) and a can is always in my house.
Beth – The only type of food place that delivers Is for pizza. So sad.
Otin – Better – I hope YOU’RE feeling better.
Peach Tart – Yes it was. I think Freitag or Mullen is going to win.
Tom – Thanks. I’m glad you stopped by.
Kys – It was yummy.
Staceyjwarner – Hoping you’re feeling 100% now.
Sunshine Mama – That’s a good reason not to crave it.
That corgi – You have to like spices. Very few people in my life will go out for Indian food with me.
Unknown Mami – I think so too! I wonder if I send a letter to my congressman he’ll make it a cause on the Hill.
Miss Nobody – That would be the best!!!!! You could introduce me to all different dishes.
Badass Geek – LOL. Hmm…my nose wasn’t that clogged later that night…wonder if that was the trick…
DayDreamer – Soup is definitely a better choice, but hard to imagine chicken soup as Lamb Vindaloo. I will come by and visit. I’m slowing starting to get up to speed on blogs.
Blueviolet – It was YUM-MY….
Kristen – Top Chef does it to me as well. I DVR that one and watch early the next a.m. while eating breakfast so I’m not tempted to make a full meal at 11 pm.
La La – Thanks for throwing that out. Thank heavens the meds kicked in.
Heckety – Luckily only one ear. Really? I thought I was very odd to crave Indian food. Glad to know others do, but I don’t see them dancing in front of me.
LiLu - Ummmm...some of us don't live in a major metro city....some of us live in
the s-u-b-u-r-b-s...where only pizza is delivered.
Nanodance – I guess the world revolves around me, but I don’t really notice because I’m usually on the couch under a comfy comforter.
Brian Miller – I do too, but have learned to eat prior to watching.
Miss Nobody – Thanks – I’ll come by and check it out. The ear is doing much better.
