Apparently, before my husband left for work, around 6:00 a.m., I felt it important to tell him I wasn't going to Woodstock (music festival) in a boat and we weren't going to stop along the way for hot dogs.
According to my hubby, I was adamant about the hot dogs. Which surprises me because I love hot dogs. In fact, it's one of the reasons I'm not a vegetarian.
He said he kissed me goodbye and I walked back to the bedroom where I promptly climbed into bed and went back to sleep.
Sometimes, my dreams are out there, but I can link them to something I'm working out in my real life. This one.....I'm drawing a blank....
Any suggestions?

I'm always wondering about my strange dreams. I have this one dream that Jeremiah and I are much older, in our 50's or 60's driving cross country in an RV, selling lawn ornaments.
I also have the obligatory 'Jeremiah's cheating on me with a tall skinny blonde' dream and the 'Rose is going over a waterfall and doesn't realize it' dream.
But I've never dreamt about hot dogs...that I know of...
Well, there is that new movie out called "Taking Woodstock" or something like that... you could have subconciously heard/seen the trailer which in turn became the subject of your dream, perhaps?
As for the hot dogs - Labor Day BBQ's are just around the corner, of which hot dogs are a staple, right?
i once told my boyfriend we needed to buy frozen vegetables in my sleep because he never eats his veggies. his bad eating habits apparently were haunting me.
I agree with Noelle, perhaps with the release of Taking Woodstock inspired this dream OR did you watch Diner, Drive-Ins and Dives yesterday. He visited this place that serves nothing but hot dogs. It's a shame it's in CA, had it been here, I would have raced over in my car. All of their choices were mouth watering.
i had crazy dreams last night too - weirdly, i think it might be b/c i just saw "taking woodstock" and had flashbacks to my college days....
It is some big like 40th anniversary of Woodstock so you may have seen media coverage of that and I too love hot dogs and next week is a big cookout weekend. Perhaps get the Woodstock sound track and grill hot dogs. Just a thought.
LOL; no ideas but it must have given your husband a good morning laugh
betty
The new Woodstock movie is coming out and you have probably seen the previews or heard the woodstock hype lately!!!
hahaha.... I have crazy dreams like this all of the time. And it's the worst when I try and have conversations with people while half-asleep. I guess we have that in common. :) At least it probably gave your husband some laughs.
Well, Ms Blogger.....I am no dream interpreter, but I'd say you are no morning person :)
Your inner hippy is obviously on a non-nitrate kick.
I am glad you blogged that so I can make fun of you forever! Thanks so much.
You subconciously want hotdogs, or penis. Perhaps both.
You decide.
That is awesome. I think its important to stand your ground on this when clearly you should arrive in a hot air balloon fully stocked with beer brats. Duh!
i hate those dreams tht feel so real when you wake up you either feel extremely relieved or extremely disappointed!
That is hilarious! Maybe you should eat hot dogs tonight.
That's hilarious! No ideas though...but I'm sure you enjoyed the laugh :)
As both a sleepwalker and a sleep talker, I can offer no explanations.
I once told an ex-boyfriend -- when he woke me at 3:00 a.m. to ask where I had been -- that I HADN'T been out with someone else that night, I had simply gone out to have my TV balanced.
My TV balanced...
Sorry you missed Woodstock. :-)

Drink more?
You need to eat some hot dogs and listen to some good old fashioned true blue rock music....
It must be all the previews about the new movie! I haven't had a woodstock dream yet but I always dream about the last thing I saw or said.
I am always worried about talking in my sleep...you never know what could come out (I have no dark secrets but what if I had been dreaming of something that I'd never do and said I did it while asleep). My husband once tried choking me in his sleep. We had been married for a month and I felt his hand patting my chest then it slowly moved up. It was like he was feeling for something. It stopped when it reached my neck, and he slowly wrapped his hand around my neck and that's when I screamed like a crazy woman! He woke up and said he was having a dream about catching something...it took me a year to get over that!
ROTFL...were you stoned??
;O)
I love it! Dream speak is so entertaining :)
i always dream that i am in public and don't have shoes on... and should...
That's hilarious... I am not a morning person either. Once I was told by a friend, that I sit up on the bed at around 3am, I actually looked at her, and ask her "where is my bra?", she:"..", me" where is my bra? I need my bra!"... and then I went back to bed. No idea what I was dreaming of...
