I've decided to make Thursdays my "Question of the Week" day because I always have questions and am always interested in people's answers.
This Week's Question is NOT from my husband. I know I gave him permission for the entire month to give me questions, but he choked. Today's question is: Would you rather date a person who only brushes their teeth once daily or borrows your toothbrush to brush their teeth?
While out to dinner last week with some single girlfriends, one was telling us some of the questions she answered on a dating site. One of the questions was: Would you date someone who only brushes his teeth one time per day?
She said no, but I couldn't let it rest and asked her if she'd rather date a guy who brushes once daily or borrows your toothbrush to clean his teeth.
Personally, borrowing my toothbrush is a deal breaker for me.
I've been asked and if my eyes had darts, I'd would have shot the individual with my eye darts.
Seriously? Can you say yuck.
I pride myself on being very middle of the road on most subjects, but some topics I will NEVER budge on.
If you forget your toothbrush, not my issue. My solution is to use your finger if you can't get to a drug store.

Argh I meant *Are you*,I SHOULD start checking my comments before hitting publish!Sorry for messing up your space :)
okay i could not STAND it if someone borrowed my toothbrush thats just nasty! i would rather they brush there teeth once a day and just use gum for the bad breath! hey in the end its their teeth that are gonna suffer not mine!
While brushing once a day is gross, using someone else's toothbrush is even more disgusting. I had a boyfriend who I discovered using my toothbrush one morning. His argument was that we kissed each other so we were already exposed to each other's mouths, but I didn't use kissing to get the plaque out from between his teeth, so that argument doesn't hold water for me.
Many years ago a friend of mine made a comment that her husband was out of town and she was surprised that he took the toothbrush. Because they shared it and he left her without a way to brush her teeth.
WTF is right.
Borrow my toothbrush and you're dead- seriously DEAD!
Share a toothbrush - NO WAY. Gross.
Ah - I don't care if you use my toothbrush. However, I am not using the same piece of dental floss! That would be way gross.
oh what is more intimate than sharing a tooth brush...
ok, just kidding...
Eww I would NEVER let a guy use my toothbrush. Omg, that's like bathing in someone's bathwater. I love that song by No Doubt but the thought skeeves me out. I would rather deal with a guy who brushes his teeth just once. That's okay I'll just hope he'll pop some gum every now & again. =)
Finger brushing isn't as effective as a toothbrush but I'd rather do that than use someone else's or have them use mine. Since I always carry several rolls of floss wherever I go, I do get a more deep down feeling clean even if I'm forced to finger brush.
Sometimes I DO only brush my teeth twice a day - I don't always have time in the morning. Is this why I'm single, I wonder. But I actually don't have bad teeth for a Brit...
That person would be given a LOT of gum.
That is just nasty to share! That's worse!!!!
My answer is borrows my toothbrush !! That is until I dump him !!

Laughing at the quick response from the blog fans on this one....since we discussed this ad nauseum at dinner last week, you know my position. Hell to the no for someone borrowing my toothbrush.
No one is going to use my toothbrush, but me. If you forgot yours, there's a drugstore on the corner. I'll even give you the money.
ugh! use ur finger! but make sure its clean... hahha
I LOVE your blog! Its super cute!! :-)
I am a new follower. Care to follow me back?

If it's a deal breaker, you are not with the right person, life gets harder further down the road.

I would never let anyone else use my toothbrush!!!!
I don't even want to think about using anyone else's toothbrush...Yuck! No one else should use mine either!
Great question even though you made me cringe at the thought!
Hugs!!
OK... this is a horrible question... my hubby travels and occasionally will come home and not bring his bag in and has been known to use my toothbrush!!!!!!!!! it has almost lead to the severing of limbs!!! I keep a little supply of extras just for such occasions. I can't stand germs!!!! even his!!!
